Anyone getting satisfactory results?
I have been trying to set up a process to digitize my vinyl. So far I’m not happy with the results. The sound is thin and poorly equalized. I have a Grado MM cartridge on a Denon turntable. For turntable/USB interfaces I’ve tried both Behringer models UFO202 and UCA222, and the Dynasty Pro Audio UA2D preamp. I have a top notch playback system. I thoroughly clean each record.
I record to Audacity, and even with its depth of control I still can’t get close to the quality of original vinyl or other digital sources.

I have a guide on this that might help:
I suspect the issue is with the quality of the digital converters in those audio interfaces/preamps.
With a higher-quality interface, you’ll likely get the result you’re hoping for.
Hope this helps.

I have a Schitt Mani pre-amp, Fluance RT85 Turntable.September 2, 2024 at 3:39 pm #237970solarcoregParticipantmy interface is the Scarlett 2i2… I think it sounds pretty good for my tastes. I’m not trying to do it pro level or anything though. I just want the convenience of being able to listen to my records on the go. I do think it works well. I followed the instructions on the site here and it wasn’t bad at all.
